Abilities, Suz Grimes provides consulting services for leadership development, executive coaching,
executive search, and job fit. She enjoys coaching individual clients to excellence and purpose
utilizing the SIMA Executive Coaching process, "Who do you think you are?" She also designs and
delivers seminars that help individuals understand their giftedness and personal motivation. Suz
holds a M.A. in Human Resource Development from the University of St. Thomas, and serves as a member
of the adjunct faculty in the Masters of Organizational Leadership Program at Bethel University, St.
Paul, Minnesota.

As the President and Owner of hr connection®, Sue Bergstrom enjoys the opportunity to work with many
great HR leaders in the Twin Cities and beyond, and one of her most exciting accomplishments has been

experience. Sue brings more than 27 years of diverse experience to hr connection®,
including serving in internal and external HR consulting and HR leadership positions at 3M, Deloitte &
Touche, Phillips Plastics, and a variety of public, private, for-profit, and nonprofit organizations.
Sue was also a member of the second hr connection® small group ever formed in 1993 and remained a
member throughout her career as an internal HR practitioner. Sue has a B.A. degree in Human Resources
Management and an M.Ed. in Human Resource Development at the University of Minnesota.

John Corness, Vice President of Human Resources, Polaris Industries
John joined Polaris in 1999 and is responsible leading all aspects of the Human Resources function.
Prior to joining Polaris, John was with GE for 9 years. During that time he held senior level Human
Resource positions in 4 different businesses in Canada and the U.S. John gained extensive global
experience in leadership development, M&A and driving change through processes like Workout!, Six
Sigma and CAP. Prior to joining GE John spent 5 years each with Maple Leaf Foods and TransAlta
Utilities in Canada.John attended Confederations College in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he graduated
with a Business major and an emphasis in Industrial Relations.
Stacey Young, Consultant, hr connection®
Stacey Young leverages her education in business as well as her mix of consulting and corporate human
resources experience to support business leaders with strategic organization and talent solutions.
She has experience working with organizations, teams and leaders implementing a wide range of projects
covering strategy execution and measurement, organizational alignment, talent optimization, change
management, cultural transformation, and acquisition integration. Stacey holds a Bachelors degree in
economics and business (with a finance emphasis) from the University of Minnesota, and an MBA in
strategic management from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.

Amy develops individuals by bringing cutting-edge topics such as multicultural and diversity
initiatives, leadership competency development, managing to style, and creating breakthrough teams to
her audiences. ECCO International specializes in increasing individuals' productivity and

presented nationally and internationally and is a certified Speaking Professional with the National
Speakers Association. Amy earned her doctorate in Human Resource Development from the University of

Sheri Stolp is a published author, executive coach, speaker and trainer, encompassing over 16 years of
Human Resources Management experience within various Fortune 500 organizations. Organizations often
describe Sheri as a skillful and creative business coach, offering unique listening abilities and a
contagious, positive energy. Through the utilization of various tools and methods, she provides clear
observations and feedback to maximize leader performance. Sheri's credentials include earning an MBA
from Cardinal Stritch University, as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is also an adjunct professor for CSU, facilitating coursework
in both HR Strategy and Ethics at the master level. Additionally, Sheri is a certified administrator
for DDI, Lominger and Achieve Global organizations.
Bill Gjetson, hr connection® Facilitator & Coach; Former HR executive at Caterpillar
Bill is a teacher, coach, and consultant with over 30 years of experience, including a 20-year HR
career at Caterpillar that spanned across all facets of HR. Since becoming a consultant, coach and
facilitator, Bill has worked with numerous businesses and organizations throughout the Twin Cities
area. He specializes in training, development planning, coaching, and action learning and
storytelling. Bill is returning to his third year of coaching participants in the Building High
Performing HR Leaders. development experience, where past participants speak highly of Bill's
authentic style and passion to see individuals reach their full potential. Bill has a BA in History
and an M.A. in History and Bill holds an MAIR from the University of Minnesota.
