UNIQUE FEATURES
This is a transformational leadership development process that takes place
over a 3-month period and focuses on the participant's growth as an
effective leader as well as the participant's ability to achieve on-target
business results. It involves a powerful combination of learning
approaches, including:
A Business Problem - making the experience real
As
part of this development
experience, participants must own an initiative that involves solving a
significant business problem or seizing a significant business opportunity
in their organization.
Workshops - providing the learning
framework
Participants will engage in three days of intense interactive
classroom learning that provide an opportunity for self-discovery,
enhanced business knowledge, and skill development to help ensure the
success of the participant's project and individual development
goals.
Panel of HR Executives - sharing "lessons learned"
A
panel of successful HR executives from Fortune 500 companies will be on
hand to dialogue with participants on topics such as how the human
resource profession is transforming, how to earn and keep a place at the
table, and how to maintain credibility as a leader.
A Facilitated Small Group - taking peer relationships to
the next level
Participants will
participate several times in a facilitated small group of human resource
peers and will be prompted by the facilitator to challenge each other's
thought process and exchange feedback, advice and support.
One-on-One coaching - moving
participants towards achieving learning outcomes
Participants will be
assigned an executive coach and receive 5-6 hours of one-on-one coaching
throughout the development process. The coach will work with participants
on their individual learning goals and will challenge participants to help
them consider alternatives in solving their business problem.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Participants must have a solid base of HR expertise and be viewed as a leader who is capable of the next level of
HR value creation. They must have consistently demonstrated strong results with at least 5-8 years of HR
experience. They should also desire to sit at the table as a strategic partner with other leaders, and be both a
