Bill Gjetson 
Bill Gjetson is first and foremost a people person. His greatest joy is working with up-and-coming HR professionals as well as managers outside the HR profession, helping to develop their careers and encourage inner growth. Bill loves to work in a variety of situations. As a small-group facilitator, he has the ability to stimulate thought, helping people gain insight or make a breakthrough when faced with a challenging situation. Working one-on-one, Bill has the insight to ask penetrating questions, listen to the answers, and develop and institute a plan of action.
Bill’s professional and personal experience allows him to connect with people on many levels. He is confident yet grounded. Bill has a clear understanding of the importance of work and life balance. Above all, Bill is dedicated to developing talent from within and delivering his message in a clear and meaningful way.
Bill has over 30 years of HR experience highlighted by his work with powerful leaders like Roy Richardson, George Tiedens, Gordan Garis, John Kindell, Charley Mencel, and Richard A. Cooper.
Since his retirement in 2006, Bill has been working as a consultant with a number of companies, including Caterpillar, Best Buy, and Malt-O-Meal. In his free time, he enjoys reading, riding his bike, hiking, and spending time with his wife, children, and two grandchildren.
