    • You have 3 - 6 years experience in the field

  • Discussion regarding the issues and agenda items proposed by group members
  • Dialogues with several of our senior executive members who will share key lessons learned in their careers as well as insights on topics including:
    • Navigating organizational politics
    • Developing business acumen
    • Building credibility
    • Trends in compensation and benefits
    • Talent management
    • Developing a strategic perspective
    • Gaining support for plans and initiatives
    • Managing culture and change
A one-year membership in the Emerging HR Leaders small group is $1,200 for member companies, $1,500 for non-member companies.

New groups starting two times each year.

Here's how the Emerging Leaders Group differs from the traditional hr connection® small group.

Prerequisites for membership
  • 7+ years experience in HR (most have 15 years)
  • Strategic rather than transactional role
  • 3 - 6 years' experience in HR
  • In or aspiring to leadership positions (department, function, project team, etc.)
Group size Maximum of 16 Maximum of 20
Meeting frequency Once a month Once a month
Composition of group Group people according to common accountabilities, experience level, and type and/or size of companies.
Annual cost $1750 if paid annually, or
$500 quarterly
$1200 (member companies)
$1500 (non-member companies)
Meeting format The first half of the meetings members to share any real-time issues for which they would like to receive assistance or resources from the other members. The second half of the meetings is then devoted to discussing a topic of common interest to the members that has been decided on at a previous meeting The first half of the meetings members to share any real-time issues for which they would like to receive assistance or resources from the other members. The second half involves conversation with a senior HR executive (hr connection® member) on cutting edge issues, lessons learned, etc.
