Laird McLean

Laird McLean possesses a unique combination of skill and experience that allows him to succeed in the most challenging situations. He brings leading edge ideas, techniques, and research to help facilitate positive change in individuals, groups, and organizations. Laird easily builds trust and confidence by demonstrating his competence in a non-threatening way, and by taking an open and honest approach to improving performance.

Laird's educational experience has led him all around the world. From Canada to Belgium, from Minnesota to Japan, Laird has learned that people value him for his ability to listen intently and his openness to new experiences.

In 2008, Laird will be receiving his PhD in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota. Laird has worked as a consultant for over 6 years and has worked with clients such as: Boston Scientific, St. Jude Medical, Boise-Cascade, American Express, Merrill Lynch and Sprint PCS. Laird joined hr connection in 2006 as a minority owner and board member and is excited to share his great experience as a consultant for hr connection.

Away from the office, Laird spends most of his time with his wife and two young sons. He enjoys reading, running, golf, soccer, and traveling to experience other cultures.
