Sue Bergstrom

As the President and Owner of hr connection, Sue Bergstrom enjoys the opportunity to work with many great HR leaders in the Twin Cities and beyond. One of her greatest accomplishments has been the conception, design, and implementation of the Building High Performance HR Leaders initiative. The greatest challenges are no match for Sue’s tenacity and problem-solving ability. Sue dreams big and loves to make her dreams reality.

When it comes to working with clients, Sue's honest and sincere approach sets the stage for a learning environment where people can grow and develop to reach new levels of understanding. Sue helps people see a variety of options for approaching their challenges and enjoys being a part of the problem-solving process.

Sue brings more than 27 years of diverse experience to hr connection. She has served in internal and external HR consulting and HR leadership positions at 3M, Deloitte & Touche, Phillips Plastics, and a variety of public, private, for-profit, and nonprofit organizations. Sue was also in the second hr connection small group ever formed in 1993 and remained a member throughout her career as an internal HR practitioner.

Outside of the office, Sue enjoys spending time with her husband, teenage daughter, and two yellow labs. She likes to travel, exercise, and dabble in her husband’s remodeling business.
