Please join us for an afternoon of socializing, food and beverages, and a presentation (Best Practice Exchange), Building High Performance HR Teams, by Kirk Froggatt.
"Building High Performance HR Teams: We're Not in Kansas Anymore"
As HR professionals, you are expected to provide effective talent management and organization development expertise and consulting to your business partners. It’s easy to become so consumed with the ever-changing needs of your client groups that you fail to adequately develop your own team to keep pace with the growing demands of your businesses. In this interactive session, we will discuss the key challenges of building your own HR teams, explore three critical “levers” you can pull to develop HR organizations that deliver greater value to the business, and identify personal insights you can translate into action plans to strengthen the capability and contribution of your own HR team.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Explain the key challenges your peers are facing in building their HR teams
- Describe three best practices for developing high performance organizations
- Analyze how your current practices compare to the three best practices
- Apply several tools and models to help improve focus and alignment across your HR organization
