HR professionals play an important role in helping organizations plan for the future. HR as strategic partners need to help leaders develop strategic plans that are market-driven and people-focused. They do this successfully when they have a ‘seat at the table’ and are positioned to share their knowledge of the organization and the marketplace for talent. Moreover, they need to help design performance systems and create cultures that facilitate the successful implementation of strategic plans. To that end, HR also needs to develop innovative HR specific strategies that are aligned with overarching plans. It is important that these HR strategies are unique, high impact, and they help an organization grow and achieve its intended vision.
In this workshop, participants will be have an opportunity to learn about strategic management and how a strategic mindset and specific strategic planning skills can enhance HR’s credibility and help organizations be more effective. Furthermore, this workshop will focus on strategy design and implementation with a focus on measurement. Steve will facilitate an interactive workshop that will provide the following…
